Canadians even wins when they lose!
The American hockey team beat the Canadian hockey team during the Olympics. I love how this Canadian gets the last laugh.
RNC Chairman Michael Steele apparently doesn't get out much
STEELE: This whole dog and pony show that we're about to witness today is something that should have taken place a year ago, when the administration first came in last February and laid out its agenda for health care. This is how you should have started it - bipartisan, public forum, CSPAN, your cameras rolling to capture this and to capture, most importantly, what the American people want. And right now, they want us to start over, and I think we should.
TODD: Chairman Steele, in fairness to them, I mean, it was a year ago that they actually had a summit.
GUTHRIE: On March 5th.
TODD: And it wasn't just the legislative leaders. They brought in folks from the industry as well. And that one was televised. So...does that one not count? I'm just curious.
STEELE: Well, apparently it didn't. Because we don't have health care.

Let's listen to the most unpopular industry in America. Americans be damned.
I just read where the public option is much more popular than the Senate bill. So what does Obama do? he pushes the Senate version. Only in our broken “democracy” could the opinion of a handful of lobbyists representing one of the most unpopular industries in America have more sway than the opinion of roughly 65% of Americans. The American people have spoken loud and clear about what they want from health care reform, and it is a public option.

Obama is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't.
Now they're complaining because he's killing too many terrorists. WTF?

Ron Reagan: Did you ever meet my father? I'm asking you a simple question. You can't answer that because the answer is no. Pam Geller: You never met him either.
These people really are delusional. Read and watch the exchange via Crooks and Liars.

It's one thing stand on principle and oppose something...
but to oppose for the sake of opposition is just STUPID!

TOM! Where are you?
I received an email from my old Blog Buddy, Tom in Texas. I've been looking for his Blog for some time now and can't seem to find it.
Tom, if you see this, send a link.
I think I'll move to Minnesota so Al Franken will be my Senator
Al Franken is doing a bang-up job in my opinion. If all the congress critters were like him we'd live in a virtual utopia. In this video he takes Grandpa McCain to task (without ever mentioning him) for holding up Becker's nomination without submitting one question to him.

Wingnuts hypocritical? Say it ain't so!
As this article illustrates, the right-wing loonies are up in arms about the "underoos bomber" and are calling for Janet Napolitano's head on a platter. Their response is quite different than the one they gave concerning Tom Ridge and the "shoe bomber" in 2002.
UPDATE: Two al Qaeda Leaders Behind Northwest Flight 253 Terror Plot Were Released by Bush in 2007
AMERICAblog:
It seems Mr. Cheney will have some explaining to do. The Gitmo detainees were sent to Saudi Arabia, where they underwent "art therapy," and then were set free. But now the Republicans have a problem with President Obama wanting to try suspected terrorists in US courts. Maybe if we promise the maximum sentence will be "art therapy," the Republicans will come on board.
