I'm listening to the new John Mayer CD "Battle Studies". More love songs, etc. similar to "Room For Squares." He seems to be channeling The Eagles and CSN at times. He does a funky/techno version of Crossroads which is growing on me. I prefer it when he plays live blues. He is an awesome guitarist and these songs don't do him justice in that regard. Still a very good CD though.
