Bush's Poll Position Is Worst on Record

It's too bad this majority didn't come to their senses before the 2004 election. Then again would it have made a difference? They would have merely "reworked" more voting machines in Ohio.

Bush's erosion of support among independents in particular has helped bring his overall approval rating down to 45 percent. Fort-nine percent disapprove of his performance.
