Heartbreaking

I want to give you one last story and I’ll shut up and let you tell me whatever you want to tell me. The guy who runs this building I’m in, Emergency Management, he’s responsible for everything. His mother was trapped in St. Bernard nursing home and every day she called him and said, “Are you coming, son? Is somebody coming?” and he said, “Yeah, Mama, somebody’s coming to get you.” Somebody’s coming to get you on Tuesday. Somebody’s coming to get you on Wednesday. Somebody’s coming to get you on Thursday. Somebody’s coming to get you on Friday… and she drowned Friday night. She drowned Friday night! [Sobbing]

Talk about a worst case triage scenario --- on Nancy Grace tonight they were talking about a nursing home with some 70 residents ( probably the same one ), they had to decide which ones they could save ( about half of them ) and left the the other half to drown in their beds. That's THIRTY FIVE lives, people who could have been your loved ones, mothers, fathers, grandparents. Having to imagine their terror in the last minutes as the waters rose around and over them is almost too much to bear ! There is NO EXCUSE ON EARTH that will EVER justify this tragedy. This IS our nations darkest hour. God help us !

I watched the interview that Tim Russert did with this guy. It was aweful.. and Russert just skipped right on to his next guest. They just cut away.

Very few of the MSM have actually had the balls to stop and actually throw the usual bullshit out the window. I'm no fan of Geraldo Rivera, but he's done pretty well, as well as Sheppard Smith. Most of the rest of them are horrible..

And the hate I have for Sean Hannity knows no bounds.. all he can do is berate people for criticising chimpy.

What a bunch of assholes..
