A few days ago the figures on U.S. soldiers who have died since the war with Iraq began were updated. The total dead was 1,484 -- and since Bush declared the war officially over, the number was 1,346.
The difference between these numbers is 138. This says that we lost 138 soldiers to capture Saddam Hussein and 1,346 so the Iraqis could vote. Does anyone else see a problem here?
If most Americans were asked if they would sacrifice their loved ones so Iraqis could vote, I'm fairly certain the answer would unequivocably be NO! How about you?
