Sen. George Allen (R-VA) has really gone off the deep end. He was on Meet the Press on Sunday discussing Dubya's Social Security debacle when he stated (with a straight face) that Americans might have to sell their homes to survive in retirement. But, that would be a good thing, because they wouldn't have to trim hedges and cut grass, he noted.
